Have a good Friday

Why do we call it "Good Friday"? Maybe I've missed something, but I fail to see how some emaciated dude dying on a cross could possibly match any of the definitions of the word "good".

What's that you say? I don't have to go to work? Awesome! Maybe that's why it's called Good Friday.
