Busted wipers, broken analogies
Life is a journey. A journey where you have absolutely no idea where you're going, your GPS is busted, you've spilled coffee all over the maps, and you don't even know which state you're in anyway. But when you look around you, you realize that most of the scenery is pretty nice, and you're fairly certain that you're headed somewhere interesting. So you just keep driving.
Then one night you leave your car's windshield wiper switch in the 'on' position and when you turn the car on the next morning after a heavy snow, your wipers break. And your analogy stops making sense. So you stop writing.
